Review on Sea to Summit Ultra-SIL Compression Dry Sack, Lightweight Waterproof Bag by Greg Greiner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Has held up well for four years!

I'm stuffing a lot of stuff in here and I'm really squeezing it out. So far no failures at a seam. I haven't tested soaking or anything like that. I put my clothes in one and my sleeping bag in the other. I'm assuming they'll repel water as advertised and I'll wait a day when I get wet to see if they actually work. The best part is that the material really holds up. I bought them four seasons ago and have taken them on seven week-long trips already. I've packed and repacked them probably at least 20-30 times, and still no failures. And I pack them up, then I sit on them to really crush them, then I tie the straps tight. It's really tight when I'm done. I'm very careful to distribute the tension evenly and not just pull it in all directions like crazy. That can make a big difference as I'm not careless.
