I bought it to use in our car. We have two cell phones and I was hoping this would work for one of us. In reality, however, it wasn't the best choice. I probably should have returned it as my wife thought it would be a good idea but thought it might work in our truck. The problem with our car is that we have some buttons on our rearview mirror that get in the way. Also, it doesn't grip and the phone won't stay in place. We have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it's a good size; seemed too heavy for this mount. The locking knob doesn't stay tight, and while it can be adjusted to different angles, it doesn't stay in place, so that's a big minus. We have a Subaru Forester with buttons to open the garage doors. It is not compatible with these vehicle types. We could have had a hard time attaching it to the mirror, but we couldn't access our buttons on the mirror with this one. That fact, along with the issue of it not staying sealed, wasn't a good buy for us. I would not recommend this product.
