Better than expected and quite acceptable

To be honest I wasn't expecting much as I was disappointed but after transferring the image to my 2k 27 inch Viewsonic monitor it was pretty good, and for a quick scan it will be very useful. I didn't edit the photos and did notice a slight bluish cast in the background, but that's easily fixed with any editing software. Admittedly this doesn't measure up to my Epson 700, which can do 12 35mm at a time and is quite bulky, but it will definitely fill the gap when you need to scan quickly. This image was created from a 35mm slide resulting in a 2.75MN image which would be a good size for decent quality and small enough to email or text to someone fairly quickly to be sent. This is great for negative film as you can lay down a strip and quickly swipe through one at a time or just sort out the ones you want to scan. I feel the built in screen could have been better but that doesn't change anything in the end. product but gives you an idea of the placement and how it will be. I wouldn't want that, but everyone would stop using mini-USB as it's getting harder and harder to find and move to more modern micro-USB and USB-C. Sorry, but that's just me. Eventually it will be on my desk when I need it.

  • Office products
Cons
  • Good but not great
