Review on LG 43UN700-B: 4K Display with Type C Inputs, Tilt Adjustment, HDR, Built-In Speakers by Sean Rao

More than I can handle

I use two 30 inch Dell monitors. I like the 16:10 aspect ratio of these screens. I was tired of splitting down the middle so I figured why not? - Shifting the head sideways due to the smaller overall width Turns out I like it when my work is divided into parts so that a screen is either one thing or two. I never have four things open at once and I don't like floating windows on a big screen. Screen. I've tried Aquasnap for window management, but it doesn't work very well. I want my main window to be larger than 21.5 inches diagonally, which means the other three windows are too small to be useful. I've spent more time adjusting/scaling/scaling the window, etc. I've tried making a CAD window with a black background that looks like a large border float in the middle of the screen, but that didn't work is working. High that it looked unnatural during video calls. I couldn't get used to it. I'm sure it will work well for someone editing videos or something like that. There were a few other issues I couldn't figure out. HDMI audio was rather unreliable. It could have been my Lenovo Thunderbolt Dock, but it regularly "forgot" that the monitor had a speaker. Restarting the computer fixed it. Also, I lost the backlight sometimes, which was annoying. Brand new monitor, brand new cables included, new Lenovo Thunderbolt Dock and everything was faulty. No thank you. Works for some people. Bottom line, it is returned.
