W drill is listed as 118 degrees. The Chinese factory blister pack says 118 degrees, but my 27 years of experience as a machinist has seen 135 degrees. I checked with a Guhring drill and it read 135 degrees. Good for cutting steel but not good for opening small 3/8" through holes in 1-3/16" thick hard maple. The 135 degree blunt tip drill was difficult to align with a cordless drill without being off center, while the less blunt 118 tip drill is easy to align. I used a 25/64" 118 degree drill bit, aligned and drilled clean. The top of the hole is not plugged.
