Hello! Today i going to write about Lenovo. Lenovo is a Chinese computer company that makes computers, laptops, tablets, and other devices. Lenovo was founded in Beijing in 1984 as Legend and was incorporated in Hong Kong in 1988. Lenovo is one of the world's leading personal technology companies, producing innovative PCs and mobile internet devices. Now, #286 on fortune 500 list, Lenovo is the world's largest PC vendor and fourth largest smartphone company.Lenovo has grown faster than the market for more than four years because our exceptionally engineered products are meant for those who do. Lenovo acquired IBM's personal computer business in 2005 and agreed to acquire its Intel-based server business in 2014. In January 2014, Lenovo agreed to acquire the mobile phone handset maker Motorola Mobility from Google, and in October 2014 the deal was finalized
Pros
- Affordable. Among the top reasons for tilting towards the Lenovo laptops while making the purchase is the affordability offered by it. In comparison to the laptops from other brands, Lenovo laptops are available in almost half the price with one or two additional features.
Cons
- Durability. A major shortcoming in Lenovo laptops is their durability. Because of being cost-effective, these laptops are compromised in the section of durability. Most of the laptops from Lenovo make use of plastic for certain parts, which on a small fall or press could easily get damaged. Also, the repair of the damaged part is very difficult to be attained, where customers are required to wait days for receiving their laptops after being repaired.
