Spare part set arrived 2 days ago. Fast forward: same results. I even put each container in separate sections of the freezer. One at the door and one at the other end. It takes about 2-3 days for each 30 cubes to FULLY freeze. What I learned: Container placement doesn't matter. Cubes that are on the outer edge do not freeze faster than those in the center. It takes about 72 hours to freeze all 30 cubes. About 1/3 every 24 hours. BUT refreezing is faster. I noticed that the 12 I used and put back in froze into the same word after just a few hours. So I think this is a trick: wait a few days, use them and freeze them again for a faster and more stable result. Overall, with that backstory, I'm happy with them. I've found that the initial freeze takes the most time, they really need to go through that first "cycle of testing" and then freeze and use again to get the right result. For the price of 30 cubes with storage container (plus fun colors to choose from), frozen cubes stay solid for over 1 hour (even on the Ice setting on my Keurig, which spits hot water to make iced tea). , there is absolutely no taste/aftertaste and they are very easy to clean! Quality seems consistent as there are no cracks, leaks or signs of structural failure. Mild antibacterial soap and water are suitable for cleaning. They do not absorb residues and do not discolour from the darker colors of the drink. I think you'll really get your money's worth if you have the patience to wait and do the first test freeze. The great thing is that the customer service and care taken to support their product stand out. I would rather hand my business over to an organization that welcomes decisions and constructive criticism. It's really simple and high quality, I'm glad I decided to try it. Also from a scientific point of view: The reason for the longer freezing and thawing lies in the high-quality material. Obviously what you get isn't cheap flimsy stuff - thank you very much! Sometimes good things take patience and the result is equally rewarding.
