Review on Replacement Passenger Bumper Partslink HO1089108 by Steve Tripp

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Didn't fit as OEM; made it look like OEM; Now it's installed and we'll see if the car passes the inspection!

Received overnight to replace an OEM that was completely destroyed by a relatively small wing flex. When attempting to fit it to a new headlamp, DEPO discovered that one end of the bracket did not match the damaged bracket it was replacing - in fact the bracket as supplied was unusable. Luckily I had some old PCB "tweezers" that I used to cut the new bracket to approximate the proportions of the old bracket - at least enough to install it in the Civic (right side, after the bend, as in the picture shown). . . ). was too long, it only took about 1/8 inch to trim to fit). When everything was assembled with the Civic the new headlamp assembly did not quite fit onto the existing bumper cover etc. I cannot blame the MOT for the mismatched bracket simply because I DO NOT KNOW if that was the cause. but I'm sure it didn't help! In any case, the bracket now holds the new headlight assembly and everything is fitted to the car along with the bumper cover so I can't complain too much.
