I don't usually have a problem with things like this being all plastic, and I know things can have defects, break through careless handling, etc. However, this twisting of the stand holds together a very short screw that goes into another protruding piece of plastic went, and for me that piece broke off at some point between the time it was made and it shipped to my house. Also pennies more, the screw could be a bit longer, and the plastic part or neck if you want could be a bit longer/thicker. Instead, the screw is short, only a small part of the protruding plastic is threaded that cannot be fixed. I have requested the return of this broken stand with the intention of ordering another upon my return, but now that I know how it was made I don't think I can trust my expensive TV.
