A wonderful article. I have a 55 inch screen that fits.

Wonderful item. I have a 55" screen that fits snugly and this base provides enough stability. Would give 5 stars except for one small issue which is actually more my fault than the bases, but I expect this to be a fairly common occurrence The base rotates freely with little or no resistance.When you rotate it you are pulling on any cords that are connected to the back of the TV.If these cords become taut from twisting, they will tend to pull the TV back to its center position .So you may needโ€ฆ

I don't usually have a problem with stuff like this that's all plastic.

I don't usually have a problem with things like this being all plastic, and I know things can have defects, break through careless handling, etc. However, this twisting of the stand holds together a very short screw that goes into another protruding piece of plastic went, and for me that piece broke off at some point between the time it was made and it shipped to my house. Also pennies more, the screw could be a bit longer, and the plastic part or neck if you want could be a bit longer/thicker.

MY TV IS DEFECTIVE. in racks and holders

This item was terrible. I HAD a 40 inch Samsung that I bought a few months ago but due to the foundation of my building I couldn't wall mount it so I could move it easily. When I saw this product I was excited and hoped it would make flipping the TV easier. While watching TV about a week after receiving it, for some reason the turntable spun and my Samsung flipped! My screen broke and the image was no longer displayed. I contacted the TV repair shop and they said it would cost $400 to replaceโ€ฆ
