Super impressed so far!

So I didn't realize I had any option other than a bark collar as a tool. I just started using this as a tutorial today. So far I'm very impressed! First checked by ear. You can hear it close to your ear. My dog was outside barking loudly at the neighbors (he's a mini dashund, so it's a never-ending bark fight). I told him "don't bark" and hit the scare button and he immediately stopped and got scared. At the pet store all he had to do was see it in my hand to keep from barking! I'll be using this very carefully, but I can't wait to see how useful it can be. And I'm excited at the prospect of him not having to wear a bark collar as often. I see how this can help when another dog is attacking you aggressively. ---Edited to add----I am so happy with this device. This allowed me to completely wean my dog off the shock collar! In fact, I rarely have to press the button because when he sees it in my hand, he's usually quick to obey. This helped him a lot in chasing the cat. And I hope to use the pull button more to suppress certain behaviors that respond to certain people with negative barking. I just can't say enough good things about it. As long as you know what you're doing and give the command clearly before you press the button, and encourage them when they stop barking or misbehaving, it can really help learning. I love my dog very much and now my daily life with him has become much better. ************************************************** ************ ************************************** ************** ************ My friend Donna, who also has a Miniature Dachshund, Miles, who is actually my dog's cousin, also wanted to try it after hearing about my success. So I helped her order because she doesn't know much about online ordering. She and her husband were very nervous because they didn't want to harm their dog. They couldn't bring themselves to use a shock collar. But their outdoor life was a major disruption to Miles' barking at the neighbors behind the fence. Finally they plucked up the courage to try. You gave the command, pushed the button, and he immediately stopped barking and was rewarded. You see it can really help. So again, as long as it's done right, it can actually work, even for those stubborn dachshunds!

Cons
