I bought these to secure my dirt bikes in the bed of a pickup truck. Unfortunately the hook clasps don't fit standard 7/8" handlebars. I know the listing doesn't say they are for motorcycles so I can't complain too much but it would only require a very small change in the design. to be much more useful to a wider circle of potential buyers/users I'm surprised that this application (motorcycle protection) wasn't researched when developing this product so I'm very disappointed but to be honest I only did it my own fault. My friends told me I needed to buy a motorcycle product. Otherwise. These bindings are very strong, very well made and able to hold heavy loads securely. The 2" wide strap material is very strong and the operating weight 800 lb is no joke for a clamp buckle. I don't like ratchet straps because they're awkward to unbuckle and I always seem to kind of pinch my fingers lol. Perfect solution Very affordable, got 2 pairs for the price of a pair of other HD mounts. At 8ft long I imagine they could be longer but they are great for most of my needs. High quality product.
