I recently purchased a Hamilton Beach 18 liter roaster from Revain and am very happy with its performance! I bought pan saver fryer inserts and kept them in my kitchen drawer to this day. Feeling a bit lazy I decided to try one of the liners in my Hamilton Beach while cooking turkey breast. What mistake! I followed the directions carefully and poured 2 cups of water into the grill insert, noting that the directions say the water cools the "hot spots" in my electric grill. As instructed, I covered the grill with a liner, preheated the grill to the specified temperature, and placed the turkey breast at 325 degrees for the required time of one hour. When I returned an hour later, the liner had melted on all four sides and stuck to each side, covering quite large areas of the brazier. The turkey breast itself was delicious thanks to my Hamilton Beach roaster, but the roaster liner fell apart completely. Now I soak my broiler in dish soap and hot water and try to remove the stuck broiler liner bit by bit! I hope my roster doesn't get permanently corrupted! Don't be "lazy" like me if you think these liners will save you cleaning time and not wasting your money spending more time and effort cleaning up the mess!
