Good is either cool or a nightmare depending on how you use it. Cook slow and slow. Pour about 2 inches of water into the pot before placing the liner. Try to keep them as far away from the walls as possible. Keep it around 250-275 and you'll be fine. I don't recommend throwing in 8 pounds of cold bbq ham. in this thing and crank it up. If you do, it will stick to the pan in such a way that it has to be scraped off with a pocket knife.

Disappointing that despite the name you can't use this in an electric turkey fryer as it only works at low temperatures. Waste of money as I only use the roaster for turkey and ham on holiday and just want it to be easier to clean. I'm sure if you use your electric fryer for more, it might be ok. I love these for my slow cooker and was hoping they would give me the same easy cleanup for an electric fryer, but instead they just take up cabinet space.

DO NOT BUY! I bought these to put in my new electric fryer for Thanksgiving. These earbuds say they're good up to 400 degrees. I was cooking a turkey at 300 degrees and the liner burned and stuck to the sides of the pan in the broiler. It also burned out and was stuck to a metal frame. I've tried peeling and with very little success it won't come off unless I use a knife and then it will peel the coating off the pan. I need to order a replacement insert now. Bought for my Thanksgiving roaster. Placed this in my grill as directed, placed the turkey side by side, covered with a lid and set the temp to 325. After 20 minutes I went to check and make sure everything was working as the grill was a new product. The lid of the brazier was glued to the plastic liner. The liner also melted on the sides of the pan. This created a real mess for me and my mother-in-law. We rushed to get the turkey out of the pot and the plastic bag was stuck to the turkey part.
