I installed one of the filters on the case fan. When I decided to change the direction of the fan flow, the filter didn't stay on when I screwed the fan back on. The screws (standard fan screws) stretched the holes so the same filter didn't stay. So I pulled out a new filter and it stayed. But just in case I sealed the edges with tape. This helps in two ways. This avoids the problem with screws enlarging holes and seals leaks around the filter. Beware of those. Filters often bulge on one or more sides, causing leakage. In my case the band filter is in a place you can't see so it looks good. Your mileage may vary. You can always choose a band that suits your case.
