Silicone mold for roses

Great frying pan! I've long preferred silicone bakeware over traditional metal bakeware for easy baking removal and quick cleanup, but this was my first foray into fancy silicone molds. There were fears that the pan would not pop the cakes out of the cracks (petals), but everything turned out great! I'm glad I bought the Freshware brand as the mold is very good quality (and I know my silicone baking mold) but the lowest price for this type of design was (Rose). Follow the instructions to lubricate the molds before first use and you won't have any sticking problems afterwards, even without lubricating. However, I do have one piece of advice - and this applies to all molded bakeware, not just silicone. Please use a denser and firmer dough. Cake batter bakes too tender and crumbly to withstand molding, and it's not the pan's fault if your pastry breaks and crumbles.

Pros
  • βœ… VERY EASY TO USE. Simply place the silicone muffin cases on a baking sheet to ensure stability when putting them in and out of the oven and you're done! Depending on your test, you can always drizzle some olive oil on the molds and/or use paper liners, but it's not necessary.
