Wait until the lock is repaired to buy. Once installed, it works great and is reliable. BUT now I can't pull the rack out of the receiver. One of the keys broke on the second use and it was difficult to push the button in to release it, but I managed. On the second attempt to remove the rail, the release button is not pressed and the rail is very tight in the coupler. I don't know what to do next. I have contacted Allen Sports and really hope they can help because I use my hatchback and need to take it out of the car to get it back. The first thing I get in the morning after writing that first 2 star review is an email from Allen Sports. At first, he offered to correct the situation as soon as possible. The night before I had the help of a family looking at this and trying to figure out what we needed to do. The final fix was some WD40 around the release button on the hitch and they wobbled around a bit. I think it was just the wrong slip after unlocking to get it out of the hold and maybe that button was too big for my grip I think. They offered to cover the cost of the two heavier keys I made and will look at the keys and find out what the problem with my rack might have been. I'll try a few more times to see if the problem comes back. They do a lot of product testing and have shown genuine interest in my issue as their product testing has never done so. They offered to move to another rack if this continued, it was Allen Sports not Revain. The rack is very well made, I checked a lot before buying it and the quality and functionality is great and now I would definitely recommend it so you can have your product with confidence.
