Secateurs look and feel good, cut well. The downside is that the grips open wide and hit the underside of my index finger with both right and left hands. Every time I use it I always hit the bottom of my index finger if I'm not careful. Today I did it again with a piece of skin ripped off by a wide opening spring. I will stop using it due to self harm, this is unacceptable. The manufacturer should consider changing the design. I use a lot of pruning shears and none of them hurt me as much as they do every time. However, if you use it with gloves, it will make great pruning shears.
