It's just junk. Not very good blades and the spring that makes the whole mechanism work jumped out in the first 5 minutes of use.

Be very careful! Wear gloves to protect your palm. The secateurs will pinch your hand when you squeeze them if you're not careful. He pinched my hand and hurt it. He did the same with my husband. The small scissors included in the kit work perfectly.

Bought as the cheapest option to rid the garden of poison ivy and rose hips. They are better than expected, feel solid and the blades are sharp and close together. The latch always closes by itself, but I figured if I flip the cutter over and put an indicator on it, it would stay open for the duration of use. Love them, can keep up after summer.

Very easy to use. It cuts very nicely. I was really shocked at how easy they were to use and very smooth. I'm used to using scissors so I might be the only one impressed, but they did a fantastic job. The gloves fit great and aren't bulky at all, so that was a nice touch too. There was a strong smell of rubber, but that's to be expected from gloves of any kind. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Good combination set at a good price. I used all 3 in my garden. The first thing I noticed is that they are a bit smaller than others I've had. This works for me, but some people may find it difficult for them. Also, the secateurs got caught in my palm twice when trying to cut a stubborn branch. Maybe my hand slipped over the handle. It was a bit painful and now I'm very careful. These are not disposable scissors. They work well, just a warning for people with big hands.

After the scissors I owned for many years disappeared I made the mistake of buying them. I guess I shouldn't be surprised as there are three pairs of scissors for $17 but they are really poor quality. I assume some of the reviews are fake or biased. Secateurs look and feel good, cut well. The downside is that the grips open wide and hit the underside of my index finger with both right and left hands. Every time I use it I always hit the bottom of my index finger if I'm not careful. Today I did it again with a piece of skin ripped off by a wide opening spring. I don't usually write reviews. However, this product is so terrible that I thought I should warn others. I bought a pack for cutting spring shoots on trees and shrubs, usually less than 1/4 inch thick. Look at the picture. The spring and pinch point on the scissors are designed to make you more likely to pinch your hands and injure yourself. The remaining points on the handle encourage such pinching.
