With my regular router bit I can cut about 32 shaped pieces of wood before the router bit burns out and becomes unusable - the last 10 pieces usually need some sanding. I'd happily pay the extra money for something that lasts a lot longer. I bought a couple of these tips to test out and found that they offer longer run times but don't necessarily have a sharp edge. After about 20 pieces I start sanding the edges. I could cut back to 45-50 but I seem to be doing more than usual. Still deciding if the extra time and money spent/saved between beats is worth the total cost.
