I bought this for my 8 year old daughter and it is absolutely perfect! I was a little surprised at how amazing the quality was because when I bought it it was on sale. I'm glad I bought it for Christmas. I have included a short video about the steering situation. The instructions don't say to remove screws or anything, so hopefully this will be of some help. Just in case, first open the T-shaped part of the handle. You will then remove the 2 screws using the tool that came with the scooter. * I don't know the name of this tool. Make sure the scooter is lying down as other parts can fall out anywhere instantly. * That happened to me. Once all parts are removed, remove the plastic part by pulling or pushing it out. You will then reassemble it using the tool you used to take it off. Now you can insert the handlebars and use the same tool to adjust the tightness.
