It's delicious, earthy and tastes like rain. This is one of the best edible clays I have received. I was a bit intimidated because other reviews said it had a metallic sheen to it, but that's not the case. We carefully analyzed the clay for metal or other fragments and found only natural clay. The price was slightly above average, the average price for this size is 5.99-9.99, but the taste made up for the price, so it's ok. It is a higher quality and creamier texture that breaks down easily when eaten. Most of us who eat these foods are looking for 1. earthy flavor (it's included in that definition) 2. creaminess (again, it's there too) 3. slightly grainy (it's hard to eat with lots of grains, hence I appreciate the slight crunch but not hard sand or rock) this item has 5 stars.
