Review on Zoo Med Betta Log that Floats by Maria Smith

My fish HATE this thing. I cleaned it before putting it in the aquarium, but it smelled so strongly of chemicals that it only got worse over the next two days. My cock started to get sick and was so stressed that it hid in the farthest corner and pinched its fins. The smell was terrible! After 3 days his health and the smell of that "log" only got worse, I took him out of the aquarium and let the water "air out". The next day, without the log in the water, the smell went away and he returned to his room and hasn't had any problems since. It's terrible. It doesn't smell very bad from the water so I'm just using it as a shelf decoration for now.
