just received two of these to replace Samsung remote OEM remote. Everything works except for the cable option. I got that. The Samsung remote control must have an additional chip that is not included in this one. I've tried pairing it with the TV but it's not recognized as the same remote control. So what I did was my original remote was still fine except the back button didn't work so I paired the original remote. As long as I have the original remote in the room with the test, both of these remotes will work with cable transmitters. I tried closing the original remote and they don't work. This means that this remote somehow talks to my original remote and can work with cable channels. Interesting. So I left the original remote in the room with new batteries. Now all options work on the new remote controls. I don't care how much it was. LAUGH OUT LOUD
