A set of high quality pens with a modern look.

Handle set of excellent quality and easy to install. I bought my house with the original 1972 door. The handle was of course also original, which meant the doorknob opening was only 3/4 inch wide. As you know, the usual hole size is 1 1/2 to 2 1/8 inches, so I had to come up with a solution to bridge the gap between the latch and the door knob, which were installed about 15 inches apart from each other. . Luckily, I was able to find a set of handles that not only look good, but also fit the existing small hole. Regarding the handle and lock: When installing the latch, be careful to turn the lock slightly to avoid scratching the metal with a screwdriver. Before fully tightening the lock and knob, use a spirit level to ensure the two plates, both the outer and inner, are aligned and aligned. This is an easy step, but it's really important when it's done. For those who just need to create a hole in the bottom of the handle: Don't overdo the distance between the hole in the top handle and the hole in the bottom handle as the post is adjustable 1 1/2 inches for the bottom. The message slides up and down to adequately accommodate the adjustments required for length. The most important thing is that the bottom hole should be directly below the handle hole to ensure a symmetrical line. For this challenge, I knew I had to drill through a solid oak door. I've found many videos and helpful guides online, but nothing has been as helpful as using a Ryobi door mounting kit. This tool is excellent and guarantees perfect hole alignment. It's around $21 and makes sure you don't get a destroyed door and lose more than $500. I highly recommend this pen set.
