PREVIOUS SHOP VACUUM CLEANER: I used to have a shop vacuum very similar to this WORKSHOP. Like many of them, it broke down and eventually stopped working. However, I've put this previous shop vacuum through hell without regularly cleaning the filter or the separate bag inside the vacuum. Aside from the fact that my previous Shop Vac had stopped working, which I was able to find out after 3+ years of hell, there were a few things that I either considered cheap components or just let down in terms of overall quality and toughness . CURRENT WORKSHOP VAC : Before purchasing this model, I read some great reviews and some not so great, which is typical of any product, right? Those great reviews were spot on and I couldn't be happier with this VAC. Hose quality, hose swivel function, hose release mechanism is simple and intuitive. All hose attachments are very tight and will not fall out during operation. The on/off switch is a really simple switch (crazy idea, I know). STRONG SUCTION, more than enough and sometimes too strong which I will never complain about. The air filter must be removed from the rubber base to prevent it from falling or becoming detached. The selection of different air filters is also large, normal, fine dust and HIPA. SUMMARY: If you love the SHOP VAC and are looking for a great alternative, this WORKSHOP vacuum cleaner is for you. Especially for the price.
