I've had a bottom shelf for a few months and couldn't find the right self-locking shelf pins. I finally found them and they fit perfectly and replaced. The only difference between these and the ones I had to replace is that they are hard plastic while the others were soft flexible plastic. They're designed to fit snugly against one of the shelves, but I suspect their stiffness will allow them to last longer under the weight. If you're trying to figure out what size you need: A 1/4 pencil is about the diameter of an eraser. on pencil number 2. I wasn't sure what I needed but I found this tip on another site on the internet and it helped. I also measure one of my old clothespins. This is a 6 pack - I wasn't sure about anything else based on the product details. The small Amazon badge said "6 packs" but the description said "Quantity per pack: 1". But it really is a 6 pack and great value for money. Prices were comparable to national brand hardware stores but Revain's delivery was quicker so I bought here and was happy.
