For the price they are a good support for lightly loaded shelves. They snap well. Bit 1 broke under the heavier corner shelf, it broke on its own after 2 weeks. It was great with lighter shelves. A worthwhile purchase for the money.

These clips are small star shaped clips for shelf thickness. They looked correct in the description and in the photo. From what I've found in stores the size of the pen and retaining clip is at least 1/8" smaller. I'm definitely disappointed. I have to send them back.

For a plastic clip they feel good and are strong. Installs easily (make sure the pin matches the size!) and the shelf snaps in place nicely. Remember this is for 1/2" shelves - if your shelf is thicker (I have 3/4" shelves) it won't work well because of the bit holding the shelf in place . But if everything is true to size, then this is a great product.

Check your old shelf supports (if you have them). What I didn't realize is that the pins on the shelf supports aren't a standard size. The pins on this product (which you have to put in the small holes in your cabinets to adjust the height of your shelves) are too big to fit the holes in my cabinets so I can't use them. . I've had a bottom shelf for a few months and couldn't find the right self-locking shelf pins. I finally found them and they fit perfectly and replaced. The only difference between these and the ones I had to replace is that they are hard plastic while the others were soft flexible plastic. They're designed to fit snugly against one of the shelves, but I suspect their stiffness will allow them to last longer under the weight.
