Review on Atolla Headphone Powered Charging Switches by Alonzo Wilkins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good hub, mediocre DAC

* Saves desktop space. * Heavy duty metal headphone stand with plastic hook cover. The hook is very wide and stiff, which may not suit some headphones.* The USB 3.0 hub operates at advertised speeds. The included cable is short but of good quality.* The DAC is mediocre so I returned the product and gave it 4 stars. It works with an output of 48 kHz/24 bit. The input is ok but it picks up EMI I think due to the onboard data and charge ports. I bought it mainly as a cheap speech DAC. The output power is good, but the sampling rate is low. The input sensitivity is good, but also picks up noise. You can use software for filtering, e.g. B. Equalizer APO. However, I have found that a cheap $10 USB-C DAC has less noise and offers better output and input audio quality. If you need a hub and have regular (non-studio/pro) headphones, I recommend this. It would probably be great if you had a USB headset.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE AND WARRANTY
Cons
  • No performance
