Review on Dorman 955-1012 Right Side Mirror Replacement for Chevrolet / GMC Models by Julian Banks
Poor quality, noisy, shaking everywhere.
This mirror is not made by Dorman, it is a cheap counterfeit with a Dorman part number. Stumbled over a bump and the mirror wobbles in all directions. Also, they whistle at more than 10 miles. I had a hard time replacing the old mirror caps with new ones. I had to cut off the inside corners of the caps as the new mirrors have narrow slots. I paid someone to install both mirrors. Removing them cost me about as much as I paid for both mirrors so I'm sticking with them for now.
