I just bought a used 2019 Ford F350 and it worked great. Installation was very easy, although my only complaint is that the torx that came with it wasn't big enough. I was able to remove and replace the screw for the retaining cable, but it took some effort to keep it from popping out and the tool was slick and too short. I had to use a box wrench to gain extra leverage, but I managed. However, the actual product works great. My tailgate opens with no problems. The back door opens slowly and gently.
