Review on 🚲 Tubeless Tire Inflator 1.15l - Advanced Airshot by Brian Samuel

Works great even if it's expensive.

I recently had to put a new set of tubeless tires on my road bike. I've been able to use the "just pump until your arms fall off" method of setting tubeless tires in the past, along with the CO2 cartridge method, but I'm feeling exceptionally lazy and have had a few glitches lately when I saw it was available for same day delivery I decided to give it a try (or is it an aerial shot? Got it?). He got the job done and installed two Schalbe Pro One 700x25c tires on my Hope 20Five wheels in no time. It is worth paying attention to a few subtleties. First, it seems to work best (at least on narrower road tires) when you put the valve stem in the 6 o'clock position. Another point is that before inflating, you must rotate the tire at least once to distribute the sealant. around the tire. And finally, if you're using a valve stem adapter that screws into the valve in place of the valve stem, make sure the valve is between the 3 and 9 o'clock positions so there's no pressure pressing on your valve. sealant back and into your airshot as you loosen it from the tire to remove the airshot. It goes without saying that if you are using a valve stem adapter you will need to depressurize the system with the Presta valve on top of the Airshot before removing the hose from the valve. q to say that this thing does its job well. It's built with good hardware and will likely last for quite a while. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. Honestly it was a choice between this and the California Air Tools CAT-1P1060S. That's 2/3 the cost of a real air compressor. But it comes with all the necessary fittings to connect to the Presta valve and was available from Revain the same day while I would have to buy a Presta valve hose and nozzle for the air compressor. In the end I can still get the compressor, but now it helps. One final note: the bottle itself is shiny and slippery and will likely bounce from time to time if you're even a little clumsy like me. I threw a pair of old socks over the bottle to give it extra softness and grip. The Airshot guys sell thin neoprene socks on their website, but a pair of tube socks seems to do just as well. Pros: * Easy to use * Quality parts * Does what Con claims: * Expensive.
