Nothing comes cheap. I ordered it to make it easier to carry a 65 lb deep cycle battery for camping. (It is very dangerous to transport batteries loose in the camping gear in the back of the truck). The top snaps securely into place. The pens could handle a 100lb battery if you wanted to, no problem. Comes with a very strong strap that can be threaded through the handles to make it easier to carry, but instead I used it to tie it in the middle of the box because the side handles work well. When I arrive at the campsite, I simply open the lid a little and connect the battery to my 750-watt inverter. Strength for the whole week, as the saying goes.
