Pictures mislead you into thinking you are getting the same level of filtration as a spa factory filter and a branded PUR filter. The block in the image shows everything it reduces or removes, but no such claims are made and are not supported by this filter's Ansi standards. While it works the water will clear and the smell/taste of chlorine will be removed but I highly doubt it will remove lead, cysts, mercury etc as it doesn't meet the Ansi standards listed on the filter and packaging. After that I will definitely find the brand PUR or Whirlpool.
