On a visit to Florida I took my Volvo XC90 for an oil change. When I picked it up it had a message saying the airbag system was disabled and needed service. I've researched the internet and read some real horror stories about going to Volvo dealers with this type of problem. I researched further and found the I906 which was able to give me more information and even tell me which sensors weren't working. I bought it and installed it in my car. I played around a bit and saw that it is possible to reset the airbag system, which I did. Several weeks have passed and the error has NOT returned. Taking it to the dealer and having the trouble codes read would cost $100 or more. I'm a lucky tourist.
