The thing is made of metal and heavy. It hasn't fallen off my car's start button yet. My button has a rim around it and it's very close to the center panel of the dash, so I had to adjust it at an angle to be able to open and close it. My thin fingers go through the hole, so I'll admit I don't always open it, but it saved me from accidentally turning off the engine when I just wanted to turn the AC on or off. The two buttons are insanely close together and the same size and shape. I've only had this 2013 Nissan Sentra since July and this device is keeping me sane as I adjust to driving my late mother's car.
