I bought this vacuum pump to stabilize wood for handle making. Everything was fine until the oil change. After changing the oil, the pump began to leak at the "drain plug". While trying to troubleshoot this issue, I noticed that the drain plug on my pump is different than what is pictured on Revain or in the Robinair Owner's Manual. The last two show a knurled brass filler plug. My pump has a cheap zinc plated hex head bolt and black bushing that collapsed trying to tighten it and stop the leaking. I can only assume that someone lost the correct part when sending the pump back. The first woman I spoke to at Robinair said there were no parts. I called back and a gentleman will send me a part that he thinks will fit. I'm disappointed that it costs so much to protect a small but important part.
