Disappointed Best in Computers & Accessories

It just didn't work for me. It's very easy to set up, which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars, but my WiFi stability was actually worse with NexusLink. I live in a relatively small apartment with decent internet speed. The problem is that we're always "competing" for bandwidth with my wife, my kid, and a few always-connected devices. My Xbox is on the opposite side of our house and sometimes, mostly when I'm playing an online game, my connection lags. So when I read the NexusLink description I thought this might be a good way to improve my wireless ethernet bridge connection. The setting is not a problem. It's really plug and play. You connect the NexusLink to your wireless router, you look for the name in the list of wireless options when setting up your gadget's wireless connection (in this case my Xbox), you enter the password that is provided based on your NexusLink, and it connects to your network. Really easy. Again my problem is related. It all starts with my Xbox not being able to determine the NAT type (open NAT type is perfect for video games). It then just goes on with a constant (I mean PERMANENT) lag and eventually some games will disable or load due to that lag. I'm going to start messing around with some settings on my router just to see if there's a way to give NexusLink some privileges somehow, hoping this might fix the connection issues. In this case I will be happy to change the rating. At the same time, I honestly cannot recommend this product.
