Excellent connectivity

I am very happy with this purchase. To be honest, I didn't have a wifi connection in my basement office. This is the only solution I have found to provide WiFi at this location in the house. And with no lags, jumps or freezes, full video streaming was seamless. The best!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

So far, so good! for computers and accessories

I have 200Mbps Spectrum internet service and have been trying to connect my computer to my router at full speed for over a year! Wired ethernet is out of the question as it's impossible to run cables in an existing building and the best I could get with MOCA was 100 megabytes. Put it down to being in a condo and not being able to fully track all the splitters etc and even with a gig MOCA something limits it to 100MB. The WiFi connection from the WiFi card in the computer to the router…

Great router extender that improves streaming

I set up this router to improve the Smart TV streaming experience in my bedroom. The main router in the house isn't too far away, but there are multiple walls in its path, and the TV has always struggled to download and stream movies. The TV also has a Firestick, which has a hard time loading things, especially the HBO app. The setup was really very easy. If you haven't set up a router yet, don't be put off at all. All the necessary materials are in the box and the instructions are clear and…

no more anger best in computers and accessories

I chose this because I live in the country, the cellular connection is terrible and the house and the store are quite far apart, the wifi is not enough there, so a solution is needed to establish a connection. They work great. I've even used it for CoD and PUBG mobile and the frame rate is as good as connecting directly to the router and better yet, there's no rage at being rubber banded due to a crappy 4G connection. I recommend this to anyone who needs a console, desktop, or even hotspot…

Disappointed Best in Computers & Accessories

It just didn't work for me. It's very easy to set up, which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars, but my WiFi stability was actually worse with NexusLink. I live in a relatively small apartment with decent internet speed. The problem is that we're always "competing" for bandwidth with my wife, my kid, and a few always-connected devices. My Xbox is on the opposite side of our house and sometimes, mostly when I'm playing an online game, my connection lags. So when I read the NexusLink description

$$ value and fits computers and accessories

This was perfect for my son's room. WLAN was only tested with a maximum speed of 20 Mbit/s. The game download speed was less than 1Mbps. After installing the Nexus link for the gaming bridge, the test speed reached 417 Mbit/s. The game download speed has been increased from 91 Mbps to 300 Mbps depending on the website. I highly recommend this product. Installation took 5-10 minutes.

Works as advertised...and more

I'll be posting a follow up around next weekend so I can report on longer term observations. First a bit of background: I have an existing mesh WiFi system with a router with a satellite device. The router is on the ground floor next to the entrance to the cable modem service building. This system covers a two-story house with WiFi connected devices upstairs and downstairs and small LAN or wired Ethernet devices upstairs. several occasional computers, various mobile devices/tablets (iOS and…

Well designed gaming bridge with low profile and superior performance

The NexusLink Gaming Bridge is an addition to this range that comes in an incredibly well designed package. The number one question for those interested in purchasing this device is performance. Attached to my review is a connection comparison for Xbox One X. On the left is a typical Wi-Fi setup, you can see that wireless performance is greatly reduced with a severe drop in speed and increased latency due to distance . between game console and router. On the right you can see that you get a…

Perfect for high-speed gaming

Wow, this set offers speeds I never thought possible with a wireless connection! I've worked with computer hardware for over 30 years and have tested more products than I can. remember. I've never seen a bridge that could come close to such speeds. It really doesn't make sense to me to list the speeds since every network is completely different. I bought it for my son who is an avid gamer. I tested the Wi-Fi speed near his Game Center before installation and then after, and it more than…
