We bought a pump to use in our DIY waterfall and pond. The top of the waterfall is about 4 feet from the bottom of the pond where the pump is located. The pump easily pumps a large volume of water with a good flow rate. My only problem is that I can't change the flow of the pump. It's not critical for our project, but it would be nice if I could give it up if I wanted to. I'll take a closer look at the adjustment, maybe the problem is with me, who knows. I am happy with the pump. It's very quiet and has crazy water flow. It comes with 3 nozzle sizes so you can change the water pressure this way. For added stability, we used a small casserole dish to mount the pump. This keeps the pump stable and level and is not easy to see.
