Review on CRAFTSMAN 8m Measure Classic CMHT37326S by Will Rahman

I had no idea how old and shabby the tape measure in my toolbox was. In the end I decided to replace them, this was the first. I'm impressed that Craftsman is still producing quality, although I have no idea who actually made the thing since the brand was sold to Stanley/Black and Decker. I've had mixed results on the quality of Stanley and Black and Decker tools. Some are good, some are bad. I checked the claimed 7ft stem. Actually, I have it just under 8'. Oh, and be careful when you pick the lock. He snaps pretty hard. If I have one complaint, it's that it doesn't go both ways. I didn't notice that when reading the list. I was fooled by the double hook at the end. Not sure I understand what makes it good on single sided tape.
