Review on ACDelco F3914 Professional Starter Solenoid by David Bar

I bought this to replace the original starter solenoid on my F-250 which finally stopped working after over 20 years of driving my truck. This new solenoid worked fine the first day, then after work on the second day I had to turn the key 3 times before it made more than a click. It's been 5 days and I already have to start my truck with a screwdriver. Not comfortable at all and a bit uncomfortable. Next I'm going to install the bike's solenoid valve, which apparently I should have done first. UPDATE 7/7/17: It's entirely possible that my problem was caused by my wiring and not this solenoid. After I switched to a different solenoid valve, I still had the same problem. On my 3rd try with a brand 3 solenoid I took the time to sand paper the wire connectors in my truck as they were very dirty. It's only been a day, but I haven't had any problems. For this reason I'm changing my rating to 3 stars, simply because I don't know if this part actually gave me a problem or not.
