First off this is a great key finder that fits the advertised specs. No attachments, just take it out of the box, insert the batteries and attach it to your keys, backpack and other items. HOWEVER...... This is more than a key finder... I bought this item for several elderly people, people recovering in hospital. , bedridden and for people who need help on a regular basis. I tested this device 60 feet from the bedroom to the porch and it worked. I also tried this device in a brick house and it worked without any problems; I will say that in a brick house it is always good to be near a door or window. But we had no problems in a brick house. I gave them a transmitter (with buttons) on a key fob with a spring on their wrist to keep them there, and then placed the receivers (alarms) around the house. I would suggest hanging from a pot stand, chandelier, kitchen cabinet handle etc unless you make sure the speaker side is open for more volume. still works well when laid flat on a countertop. A pack of 4 receivers (Vodeson. Same type as 2 packs) perfect for placing 1 in the kitchen, living/common area, garage and bedroom (3800 sq ft). Sometimes, laughably, comedic seniors hit all the buttons at 4 a.m. to see who gets there faster and who meets who. Ha ha ha ha... (it happened and it was fun). This device came in several urgent matters. Check and keep spare batteries. Note. Never rely 100% on electronics alone... human instinct is always better.
