This grinding disc from PROFESSIONAL TOOL CENTER is most likely not a genuine Makita product. I put this new pad on my Makita maybe a week ago and it's already worn out and the grinding wheels aren't sticking to it anymore. If this is a genuine Makita product then the Makita quality is gone.** ************Upgrade. I contacted the seller about an inferior seal. They stated that this is Makita's OEM product. And they sent me a replacement pad at no extra charge. I haven't had a chance to use it yet. So I don't know if the penultimate one had a manufacturing defect or if the quality of the Makita just got worse. If the latter is the case, I might have to reconsider my relationship with Makita if they can't even make a quality sanding pad anymore.
