Saving time and making work easier.
I have serviced many different pieces of equipment and have had a problem with it being difficult or impossible to keep the coupler on the fitting when priming the grease gun. Due to the number and location of the fittings (some of which are in the 19Β°F ice storage bin), some of the work was a bit of a hassle to complete. I improved the tool by adding a locking collar (recommended for all oilers that can do this). I liked it so much that I bought a second one (instrument only). I use oe for food grade lube and one for everything else.
