Had to return one of the first two I bought due to poor image quality and scanning issues but the replacement works well so far. The monitor I use matches the resolution of the camera exactly, but not quite, and as a result there is a slight scan halo, but this doesn't affect the image quality. I used these cameras to set up blind spot surveillance in my 2005. Chevy Silverado 2500HD and I have to say I'm impressed with the results. The 9-inch HD monitor fits snugly into the underside of the center console and gives me a much better view of cars that may still be in my blind spot before attempting to change lanes. No, I don't have the benefit of active audible or visual alerts when something's there, but hey, this is a 2005 truck that works great and pays, so it's worth adding to improve safety in the future converting to a sensor/reporting solution, but for now I'm happy with what I have installed. Happy June everyone!
