Review on ATDIAG OBD2 Scanner: Enhanced Universal Car Code Reader - Diagnostic Scan Tool for All OBD II Protocol Vehicles Since 1996 by Joshua Jemison

Inexpensive and works well

Easy to install and use. I have selected the Auto Doctor app to use with the device. I love how easy it was for my iPhone 6 to connect to an OBD-ll Wi-Fi signal. Auto Doctor is also easy to navigate. I scanned my car [2002 Accord Vtech V6] a week ago when I first received the device. My Check Engine light was off and no trouble codes were found correctly. Yesterday my Check Engine light came on and an EVAP leak was detected [P1457]. I have yet to confirm this is correct by repairing the EVAP component. I suspect this is correct because the EVAP canister valve was previously leaking. I can only use the OBD-II reader with the engine off/ignition on. He doesn't want to stay connected with the engine running. Maybe it has something to do with the age or model of my car. I do not know. Either way, it works!

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
