Review on 💪 Highly Efficient Kohler K-8304-KS-NA Pressure-Balancing Valve Body and Cartridge Kit with Service Stops for Optimum Performance by David Schweigert

This shower mixer valve improves on a Kohler K-304-K-NA valve that has been a problem in my second floor shower for over seven years. This is located in the sauna extension on the 3rd floor. I would give 5 stars if the assembly instructions weren't so poorly written and disorganized. Probably the worst omission was that there was no mention of removing the check valves before the supply lines were sweated, save for a sticker on the valve body itself which was easy to miss (see image). The second worst omission was that when you reinstall the check valves you have to point the tabs INSIDE towards the center or the water will not reach the valve. You will need snap ring pliers to pry out the check valves.
