Easy to install. I saw Kohler's video. Service stops appeared immediately. Yes, the clips come off with some effort, but that's to be expected. very happy with the quality.

Easy to install, chose the sweat version and was satisfied. I didn't use the plastic case in my setup because it was retrofitted and didn't have room anymore. Everything worked great. Make sure you use a ring tool and pull out the valve before soldering. If you are unfamiliar with the ring used for the valve, practice with it before installing.

The water does not get as hot as the old valve even if the safety ring is completely removed. And it won't be that cold. They sent me a new valve but same problem. The pressure compensation system used is far too balanced for my taste. If you like hot showers, skip this one. Very disappointed I would have to bang my wall to exchange this valve body for another brand, luckily it's a bathroom down the hall. I will not install this junk in the rest of the house.

We bought this valve for a bathroom renovation. Came with a defective cartridge. Our plumber called Kohler and sent a replacement cartridge - wrong one. Now we are waiting for another new cartridge. In a conversation with our plumber, he recommended Moen. I called Kohler to request a refund and since it was purchased from Revain they did not refund the valve. This shower mixer valve improves on a Kohler K-304-K-NA valve that has been a problem in my second floor shower for over seven years. This is located in the sauna extension on the 3rd floor. I would give 5 stars if the assembly instructions weren't so poorly written and disorganized. Don't buy this. When buying a durable part like this I tend to pay more for a high end model. So I got this one that includes maintenance stops after seeing some comments about how keeping the water going could be convenient. First, I've since learned that the scenario will almost never happen in a house, a service stop only makes sense for an apartment building.
