I live in a 3 story townhouse with my router/wifi on the lower level. I often had to get work done and make Zoom calls to the 3rd floor, which is the furthest from the router. (Of course) This resulted in very slow up/down speeds and an unstable Wi-Fi connection. Well, I bought a Powerline Starter Kit to use my house wiring as an ethernet line from my router to my 3rd floor office. Using a USB-C connection to my MacBook, the Vemont HUB not only gave me a stable 85MB connection, but also allowed me to access my external storage and USB drives at the same time. It's still not "fast" like getting 200MB below, but it's a great solution. ***Bonus*** I bought a second hub and use it to add storage to my Chromcast/FireTV devices as well as a stable ethernet connection that makes streaming a pleasure.
